New customers

If Sellar has to create a new customer on Xero, we pass along the following details. This happens the first time you process an order for this customer:

Existing customers

When Sellar identifies an existing customer in your Xero contact list, we will use the existing details of that customer with one exception - the delivery address.

As the delivery address for a customer on Sellar can change on an order-by-order basis, we pass that along to Xero when creating the invoice. At time of writing, Xero do not provide a way to do the following via their API:

Therefore, we provide settings which allow you to choose how you’d like to handle updates to customer information. You can choose whether you want Sellar to update your contact’s details in Xero or not. Head to the Xero integration page to configure.
